Michelle Stoute
Director
Michelle holds a BA and an MA in Fine Arts from Kean University, along with a post-baccalaureate certificate in K-12 Art Education from William Paterson. She is in her 21st year of teaching as of September. Her Summer Fun journey began in 1997 as a counselor, followed by roles as counselor, art director, and site director at different camps, culminating in her appointment as Summer Fun director in 2018.

Ellen has her BA in Psychology from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and her MSW from Columbia University. She considers VRECS her home away from home.

Her journey as an educator is rooted in both passion and purpose. Jomary loves Jesus and finds joy in sharing her faith through kindness, encouragement, and how she care for others. Working with children has always been a calling on her heart.

Sarah Lepore is a Freshman in College where she is pursuing her degree in Early Childhood Education when she goes to college. She is returning for her 3rd summer. Sarah enjoys being able to play with the kids, create bonds and watch them grow!
Sheila Gilmartin

Sheila has her degree in Early Childhood Education from Saint Thomas Aquinas College and is currently working as a fourth grade teacher. She is a fun lovely energetic person who loves teaching children. She can not wait to have a fun filled learning adventure with your children.

With 6 years as an Elementary Classroom Teacher, she aims to foster a positive, inclusive classroom where every student feels valued and capable. She specializes in social-emotional learning and is committed to a safe, supportive environment for self-expression.

Cristina has been a child advocate, educator, and caregiver for over 10 years. She has both years of experience in teaching students in the classroom setting, as well as the camp setting. Through her educational work in early childhood, she demonstrates a passion for the well-being and wellness of children.

Haley GoldbergK - 1st Grade Aid
Haley Goldberg is a Graduate of Fair Lawn Highschool. She has been involved in field and comp cheer for 12 years. Haley has coached FLFA cheer for 4 years. she enjoys working with kids and seeing them experience new things and developed new learning skills.

Pauline Morales1st - 2nd Grade Teacher
Bringing over seven years of early childhood experience and a Master's degree in Education, Pauline is thrilled to join the camp staff this season. She uses her warm personality and excellent communication skills to cultivate a supportive, loving environment for all families. Dedicated to celebrating diversity, Pauline ensures that every child feels seen, safe, and included in the camp community. She is deeply committed to fostering healthy, happy young learners through a thoughtful combination of meaningful learning and fun, dynamic play.

Julia is a college student studying nutrition and fitness. She has a passion for working with kids. Julia is excited to bring positive energy, encouragement, and fun to camp this summer, while helping campers stay active and build confidence!

Melissa earned her BS in Biology and Education and her MA in Education from Saint Peter’s University, along with a Child Advocacy Certificate from Montclair State University. She’s entering her 11th year of teaching this September and is excited to bring her experience, energy, and love of learning to camp for the first time. Melissa can’t wait for a summer full of fun, laughter, and unforgettable memories with all the campers!

Ava is a student at Quinnipiac University studying Radiologic Science, and is looking forward to another great summer at Camp Summer Fun!

Andrea KellyAndrea Kelly has been teaching since 2006. She has taught students in 1st-6th grade and worked at a Preschool one summer. She is excited to work at Camp Summer Fun!
Isabel KnappIsabel Knapp is a recently graduated senior from Fair Lawn High School. She loves working with children and enjoys creating a fun, safe environment where kids can play and feel comfortable.
Ms. BlaiseBlaise earned a BA from the University of Hartford. She left the office world to be with her family and joined VRECS as a lunch aide in 2017. She found a passion for preschool and has worked as a Teacher’s Associate in pre-k4 and Transitional Kindergarten, and has been teaching Pre-K3 since 2021. Blaise loves connecting with children, sharing their view of the world, and fostering kindness, individuality, and curiosity in the classroom.

She earned her BSN with Cum Laude from Fairleigh Dickinson University in 2008, and her MSN and DNP from Wilkes University (MSN in 2018, DNP in 2021). She works full-time as a registered nurse at Mount Sinai Hospital in Manhattan and part-time as a nurse practitioner and medical director at Nutritional Infusions in Galloway, NJ. She is a member of the Christian Board of Education at Van Riper Ellis Broadway Baptist Church.
